The Spartanburg County Democratic Party (SPCDP) is the local branch of the state and national Democratic Party. We share our party’s values, including a commitment to equal opportunity for all Americans, promoting economic growth, improving public education, protecting the environment, making health care affordable for all Americans, and keeping America strong at home while restoring its standing abroad.
The SPCDP recruits and supports candidates for local office while helping statewide and national candidates organize within our county and win elections. We organize and connect volunteers with opportunities for involvement during elections and beyond. In between election cycles, we keep local Democrats connected with each other and informed about issues and events that are important to our community. Our renewed focus to grow the SPCDP through attracting voters—young and old, independents as well as disenchanted partisans—
to share our vision of community and to join us in making it a reality will be at the core of all we do.
