The Spartanburg County Democratic Party (SPCDP) is the local branch of the state and national Democratic Party. We share our party’s values, including a commitment to equal opportunity for all Americans, improving public education, making sure all citizens have affordable health care, protecting the environment, and keeping America strong at home while restoring its standing abroad.

SPCDP recruits and supports candidates for local office while helping statewide and national candidates organize within our county and win elections. We organize and connect volunteers with opportunities for involvement during elections and beyond. In between election cycles, we keep local Democrats connected with each other and informed about issues and events that are important to us.  And hopefully, along the way, SPCDP grows through attracting voters—young and old, independents as well as disenchanted partisans—to share our vision of community and to join us in making it a reality.
