About the event
Wofford College is honored to welcome the Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II, to deliver its 2026 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., address. Dr. Barber is co-chair of The Poor People's Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival and Founding Director of the Center for Public Theology and Public Policy at Yale Divinity School. His lecture will be entitled "We Are Called to Be a Movement." The event is free and open to the public. Dr. Barber will be signing copies of two of his books, which will be available for purchase at the event.
